Parker Barandon

Parker Barandon graduated from UCSB in 2025 with a B.S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences, and he now works as a Laboratory Assistant collecting fMRI and psychophysiological data for Team Strick as part of the Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s initiative. In addition, he is a Laboratory Assistant in Dr. Regina Lapate’s LEAP Neuro Lab, where his research examines the functional organization of the prefrontal cortex and the relationship between emotion and temporal memory. After his time as a Lab Assistant, he intends to pursue a PhD in social neuroscience to study how individuals represent their social environments.
